Optimum sound absorption thanks to open material structures: iswall® compared to conventional building materials

All building materials have certain acoustic properties, as they can either absorb, reflect or transmit sound. The acoustic effectiveness is largely determined by the material structure. The more open the structure, the more effective the material is. Compared to solid materials such as wood or glass, the felt-like nature of iswall® enables the absorption of a greater quantity of sound waves.
